30 Years – Iris Blatterer and the Resilience Shower

Our collaboration with ARGO began many years ago. If I remember correctly, the initial question at the time was roughly this: How does our almost medieval management manage to get along with the young whippersnappers on the team? And how can we at the same time do justice to the ambitious colleagues whose expectations sometimes leave us with honest, profound bewilderment?

Short impulse workshops followed: sometimes with the whole team, sometimes in smaller groups. Topics such as “managing external partners” or “project communication” regularly appeared on the agenda. Our leadership team also treated itself to training sessions on the topic of “leadership” – as well as the occasional one-on-one session for particularly challenging situations.

Among all these valuable experiences, however, one stands out in particular: our sessions on resilience. I vividly remember how we stood in the garden of the Europahaus seminar hotel, enjoying the mild weather and treating ourselves to a so-called resource shower. Anyone who knows what I’m talking about can surely understand the power it unleashes. And for those who don’t know what I’m talking about: you’re missing out! Truly.
